Are Dota 2 Cheats Worth the Risk in 2026?
Staff-created draftBeen seeing more discussions about Dota 2 cheats recently and I'm curious what people actually think about them in 2026.
Obviously, getting an unfair advantage sounds tempting to some players, but losing an account you've spent hundreds of hours on seems like a pretty terrible trade.
There's also the whole security side of downloading third-party software.
What do you guys think? Are the risks worth it, or is playing normally just the better option?

Illustrative experiencesAccount security is something people often overlook. Unknown downloads can create problems that have nothing to do with the game itself.
losing a 2k hour account over something like this would hurt ngl lol
I think people underestimate how much game updates can change things too. Something that works today might not work tomorrow.
